Devikulam meaning the lake of the Goddess is another tourist attraction near Munnar , famous for its pristine lake Sita Devi Lake. With the marvelous view of lush, misty layered hills along with the beautiful lake, the place has become a great attraction for tourists as a picnic spot. The place also has legendary importance, according to Ramayana it is said that Devi Sita had bathed here in the lakeand thus lake has its sacred importance.
